Product **IBS RL 24 DIO 8/8/8-LK** from *PHOENIX CONTACT* is a digital input/output device

< p>a is designed to communicate with industrial automation systems through *INTERBUS* network. This device has 8 inputs and 8 digital outputs with a voltage of 24 volts DC and an output current of 0.5 amps for each channel. This module communicates using optical fiber technology and the data transfer speed is 500 Kb/s. Due to its zinc body (IP67), this module is resistant to harsh environmental conditions and shocks, and is especially suitable for use near equipment such as welding pliers. Each *Ruggedline* module consists of an installation panel and an electronic module, which the electronic module is installed on the panel. These modules are equipped with advanced diagnostic systems that allow identifying errors in the power supply of sensors and outputs. Also, this module has electronic protection against short circuit and overload, which increases the safety of the system and in case of an error, the problem can be identified and fixed quickly [6†source] [7 [oai_citation:1, IBS RL 24 DIO 8 /8/8-LK - Distributed I/O device - 2724847 | Phoenix Contact](https://www.phoenixcontact.com/en-pc/products/distributed-i-o-device-ibs-rl-24-dio-8-8-8-lk-2724847)
