Larger models are used to test materials such as ore and soil and can process particles up to 20 mm in size. Because this device is portable and does not require a power source, it is also suitable for environments outside the laboratory, and the results can be obtained in less than 3 minutes. The device also comes with various accessories such as an electronic scale, steel balls for sample crushing, and cleaning tools. The accuracy of this device in most materials is up to 0.5%. For different materials, the percentage of moisture can be measured up to 50%. To use this device, you need to prepare the calcium carbide reagent separately. This reagent produces acetylene gas during the experiment, which is flammable, so safety precautions must be taken when using it.
